Mood Ring is a color-shifting journal. As you write, the page color changes based on your writing. When you're done, you get a reading — your emotional journey, mapped by a program you can read.
The Liminate interpreter analyzes your writing in real time — sentence rhythm, punctuation density, paragraph cadence, typing speed, and vocabulary resonance. The color shifts using a perceptually uniform color space (OKLCH). No AI reads your words unless you turn on the AI summary in settings.
Your writing stays in your browser by default. Nothing is sent to a server unless you choose to save across devices (sign in) or enable the AI summary (which sends text to generate a richer reading). The settings gear lets you control both.
Mood Ring is built on Liminate, a 58-word prose-as-syntax language where English sentences are the code. Receipts checks AI citations. Agreements defines expectations. Mood Ring maps your emotional journey. All three run on the same interpreter.
